Carefully fermented and refined with juniper berries and bay leaves, every bite is a delight for the palate, combining the freshness of the cabbage with the aromatic notes of the herbs. The juniper berries lend a slightly balsamic and spicy note, while the bay leaves add an earthy and refined depth. Goes well with everything the forest has to offer, such as game meat, mushrooms, chestnuts, etc. But it also cuts a fine figure as an ingredient in vegetarian bean and lentil stews or with potatoes.
